We've been testing ClearCheckbook version 5 internally for a while and now we're ready to expand the number of testers trying it out!
If you're interested in being one of the first people to use the new version of ClearCheckbook, please let us know either by submitting a 'Contact Us' message from the bottom right side of the page or by replying to this thread. ClearCheckbook v5 is currently using the live database so you'll be able to see all of your actual data which makes the testing process a lot easier and gives you a better idea how the site behaves.
I'm very much interested !!!
I'd be interested in trying the new beta for ClearCheckbook.
Thank you,
Noah
I used the Google search to find "ClearCheckbook" and after a quick test I was impressed by the great tutorial videos on Youtube and immediately bought the premium version for 1 month in advance. I will now setup my accounts, categories and budgets and test them in detail. I would like to apply as a beta tester and would be very happy if I can give some feedback.
Greetings from Austria - the small country below Germany and next to Switzerland ;)
- Persisting the entries per page setting across logins.
- Adding a count of selected items to the deletion confirmation dialog (it lowers.my blood pressure doing a delete).
- Extra control over Autocomplete actions.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Ensure that one or more transactions have a zero amount.
On the search Page
Create a search with the following filters:
- All time
- All accounts
- All categories
- No keywords
- Amount range: 0.00 to 0.00
- Click search
Only transactions with $0.00 amounts are shown.
- Click saved searches
- At the bottom, enter a name for the search, and click save.
Test
- Click saved searches, and select the new search created above.
In the current version, the fields in the search form (accounts, amount, categories, etc) are updated to match the values in the search, INCLUDING the amount range.
- This includes a non-zero range (e.g. 0.01 to 999999.99), or a zero range (0 to 0, numbers explicitly appear in the text boxes after Amount Range).
In the beta 5 version, the saved amounts are not updated in the text boxes if they are zero, BUT the search appears to still return the correct answers for the saved amount range even though it does not appear in the form.
If the blue search button is clicked a second time without change to the form, the results will now show everything regardless of the amount, since the form shows no amount range values.
We fixed this bug. Also, you can now simply enter '0' into the first field of the range and it will perform an exact amount match.
